Friday's Frolick

I went to Peaceful Ponds tonight, sat on a blanket right on the water's edge and watched these huge dragonflies mate. It's incredible, actually... frolicking, flying through the air and implanting seed at the same time. Wow, what a life!

Beautiful Tree Monday

On Windy Point near Nordegg, a tree so beautifully perched (and hanging on for dear life) against the hillside of Abraham Lake, I couldn't take my eyes off it! I'm not sure at that moment what was better. The color of the lake, or the tree. So I took a pic with both!
